AARP 3104

• Canfield Chapter 3104, AARP, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday for lunch at A La Cart, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Entertainment will be by Paul Rossi and Friends. The meeting is open to anyone interested in joining the group for a four-day, three-night trip, Sept. 22-25, to Mackinac Island and Frankenmuth, Mich. For details call (330) 332-4791. Reservations are being accepted for a two-day trip to Lancaster, Pa., Nov. 12-13, for two Christmas shows and a visit to the National Christmas Museum. Reservations are also being taken for a members-only day trip Dec. 6 to Pittsburgh.

• A meeting of Ajax Magnethermic will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Station Square, 4250 Belmont Ave.

FREETIMERS

• Youngstown State University Retirees will have a breakfast at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Denny’s Restaurant on state Route 224, Boardman.

GIRARD

• Girard Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the center, 16 N. State St. All members are urged to attend this meeting. The board of directors will meet at 10:39 a.m. for the program “Memories of the Organization.”

MARTHA LUPSE

• Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Ted Conner will give the devotions, and the annual summer picnic will be at noon.

MOUNT CARMEL

• Our Lady of Mount Carmel Seniors will meet Wednesday following the noon Mass. John Mascardine will preside, and reports will be given by Clara Pascale and Ann Leone. Illness should be reported to Carmel Colaizzi at (330) 797-9248.

POLICE AND FIRE RETIREES

• A picnic for the Police and Fire Retirees of Ohio, District 2, Chapter 10, will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Masters Pavilion in Boardman Township Park. All retirees, DROP participants of the Ohio Police and Fire Disability and Pension Fund, their spouses or survivors are welcome. Members are to take a covered dish. ST. CHRISTINE

• St. Christine Seniors meeting for Wednesday has been canceled due to the church’s festival. The next meeting will be a brunch on July 22. Reservations must be prepaid.

ST. NICHOLAS

• St. Nicholas Senior Citizens will have a luncheon meeting at 11 a.m. July 14 at Father Petric Hall with Laverne Cox presiding. Reservations are required and can be made until Wednesday by sending an $8 check payable to the organization to Lora Opsitnik, 138 Iroquois St., Struthers, OH 44471.

ST. ROSE PARISHiONERS

• St. Rose Parishioners will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at Amen Corner after the 12:30 meeting of the officers. There will be bingo and pizza.

SAXON RETIREES
