ATHLETIC GROUPS
• McDonald Baseball Association will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
• The McDonald Sideliners will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the high school.
AUXILIARIES
• Itams Post 3 Ladies Auxiliary will have its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Post, 115 S. Meridian Road. Delegates to the national convention to take place in Syracuse, N.Y. on Aug. 13-15 will be elected.
CLASSES
• Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s restaurant, state Route 224, Boardman. Classmates and spouses are welcome.
• Chaney High School January and June Alumni of 1942 will meet at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s in Austintown. All classmates and guests are welcome. No reservations needed.
• Chaney High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. July 14 at Molly’s on Salt Springs Road. All alumni are invited to attend.
• Woodrow Wilson High School Classes of January and June 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday for breakfast at Denny’s in Boardman. Members of the 1946 and 1948 classes are welcome.
CLUBS
• Le Cercle Francais will have a Bastille Day picnic at 3 p.m. Sunday for anyone interested in French culture, heritage and language. The day has been celebrated each year since 1984. Each family is asked to take a casserole or dessert to serve six or eight. The club will provide beverages and place settings. • Mahoning Valley Stamp Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Highway Tabernacle, 3000 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown. The club meets the second Thursday of each month.
• McDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the McDonald post office building.
• Youngstown Road Runners Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Slippery Rock Pavilion, Robinson Hill Drive, in Mill Creek Park, for a run/walk and picnic. • Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild has scheduled the following: ASG at Joann Etc. will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bernina Store, 7091 West Blvd., Boardman, for a demonstration on personal embroidery design; Material Girls meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 490 N. • Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Senior Center of Mahoning County, Fifth Avenue, Youngstown, and at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Easter Seals Day Center, 721 Boardman-Poland Road, Boardman. • Fred Childress Greater Mahoning Valley Parkinson Support Group will meet for a picnic Thursday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church Pavilion, 4580 Canfield Road. Those attending are asked to take a casserole, salad or dessert to share, dishes, serving utensils and a picnic tablecloth. Hot dogs, buns, condiments and beverages will be provided. • St. Patrick Church in Hubbard will begin its sixth year of sponsoring the Divorce Recovery Program on Sept. 8. It offers support, education and networking to those suffering from separation and/or divorce.
