Free wedding gowns for military members

WARREN — Free wedding gowns will be available for women who are either serving in the military in Afghanistan or Iraq or about to be married to servicemen stationed in either of the countries.

The gowns will be given away from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Evaline’s Bridal, 211 E. Market St.

The bride must provide documentation of military service for herself or her fiance.

Brides do not have to live in Warren to be eligible. A number of bridal retailers are participating in “Brides Across America,” a national campaign that is honoring military brides by providing free gowns.
