Registration

Schools are beginning to register children for kindergarten for the 2009-10 school year. In most cases, children must be age 5 by Sept. 30, 2009, and must have proof of state-required immunizations, their birth certificate, a Social Security number and proof of residency at the time of registration. Parental identification and proof of legal custody may also be required. Any other requirements are listed with each school.

Holy Family, St. Charles, St. Luke, St. Nicholas: Registration will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at each school. A Baptismal certificate is required if the child wasn’t baptized at the parish he or she will attend. Each school also requires a registration fee and parents should call the school offices to secure registration materials. Holy Family: (330) 757-3713, $25 fee. St. Charles: (330) 758-6689, $30 fee. St. Luke: (330) 782-4060, $50 fee. St. Nicholas: (330) 755-2128, $146 fee.

Villa Maria Teresa School: Now accepting registration between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the school office, 50 Warner Road, Liberty. The school offers busing to pupils living in the Liberty School District and is an Ohio Education Choice Scholarship (voucher) participating school. A before-/after-school child-care program is available. Kindergarten is an all-day program. In addition to the kindergarten curriculum, children will participate in an Italian language program as well as computer classes. St. Paul: Registration is being accepted for children for pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. Call the school office at (330) 337-3451 for more information, to receive a registration packet or to set up an appointment for a tour.
