Cleveland State rolls easily past Detroit

CLEVELAND — Norris Cole scored 21 points as Cleveland State pulled away in the second half to defeat Detroit 66-49 on Thursday night.
Cedric Jackson added 14 points, and J’Nathan Bullock had 11 for the Vikings (14-8, 5-5 Horizon League).
Thomas Kennedy led Detroit (5-15, 0-10) with 14 points, and Chris Hayes added 10.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Vikings.
Cleveland State shot 42.9 percent from the field and the Titans hit 39.5 percent. Detroit scored just 4 points off turnovers, compared to the Vikings 20.

DAYTON — Marcus Johnson’s dunk off an alley-oop pass from Rob Lowery with 1:06 to play gave Dayton the victory. Chris Wright had 16 points for Dayton (19-2, 5-1 Atlantic 10), and Charles Little had 14.
Cent. Michigan 76, Ohio 69
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Jacolby Hardiman tied a career high, scoring 20 points to lead Central Michigan past Ohio. Central Michigan (6-12, 3-3 Mid-American) held Ohio (10-9, 3-3) without a field goal for an eight minute stretch in the second half. Ohio was led by DeVaughn Washington, who had a career-high 25 points to go with 11 rebounds.
