Boy Scout chili dinner Saturday in Canfield

CANFIELD — Boy Scout Troop 115 will host a chili dinner fundraiser from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Michael Church, 281 Glenview Road.

The menu consists of all-you-can-eat chili with cornbread, drink (lemonade, coffee, tea) and dessert. Hot dogs are available for children.

Fees are $6 for adults; $3 for children under 10; and $10 for a quart takeout.

Warren parking ban

WARREN — City officials remind residents that the parking ban is still in effect and to make sure cars are off the streets so snowplows can clear them.

Also, William D. Franklin, safety-service director, says residents are responsible for keeping the sidewalks in front of their homes clear of snow.

He added it would be appreciated if neighbors clear the sidewalks of the homes of those who are elderly or disabled.
