BOARDMAN — A new Dunkin’ Donuts is open on Market Street.

The restaurant opened last week at 7635 Market St., just south of Southern Park Mall. The restaurant offers hot and iced coffee, espresso drinks, breakfast sandwiches and baked goods.

It covers more than 2,100 square feet, employs 40 crew members and seats 20 people. The drive-through is open 24 hours, seven days a week. The dining room closes between midnight and 4 a.m. daily.

The restaurant design, reminiscent of the company’s roots that date back more than 55 years, combines contemporary features. The restaurant is the only store in the area to completely follow the Dunkin’ Donuts 2015 design, which features free Internet access and a coffee shop feel with couches and chairs.

This is the sixth store for franchisee Bryan Stolte and his business partner, Ted Rogers. Five of those stores are in Mahoning County. The pair plans to open three more restaurants in the next two years.

Feb. 14 is the store’s grand opening. From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. that day, Stolte invites customers to bring a nonperishable food item to the new store for the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley and receive a free medium hot or cold coffee or latte. The first 200 customers who arrive at the grand opening will receive a free Dunkin’ Donuts coffee mug.

Township police will be inside the restaurant offering the Ident-A-Kid program to all parents of children while the township fire department will be offering fire safety tips and information. Likewise, the National Guard and Air Force ROTC and the American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be a part of the grand-opening festivities. In tandem to the giveaways, anyone that donates blood to the American Red Cross will receive a free doughnut.
