It’s the first summer tour in five years for the jam band, which will release “The Clifford Ball” on March 3. The Harlem Globetrotters, the clown princes of basketball, have been around for 83 years, but this is as hot as they’ve been in a while. The 'trotters have been breaking their own attendance records on their current tour, including sellouts in Cleveland, Pittsburgh ... and Youngstown. Kids Fun Day at Youngstown State University runs from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Geared toward the elementary school set and their parents, it’s a free indoor carnival with games, bounce-arounds, and similar stuff. Afterward, hang around for some YSU Penguins basketball at adjacent Beeghly Center.

The Packard Music Hall will host a free Super Bowl party Sunday. Bring the whole gang and watch the Steelers and Arizona Cardinals tangle on a 20-foot-by-30-foot big screen with theater sound.
