Butler exhibition displays regional artists’ work

YOUNGSTOWN — The 72nd Area Artists Annual, a juried exhibition of regional artists work, runs through Feb. 22 at the Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave. The Annual is open to artists living with 40 miles of Youngstown. This year’s show was judged by artist/educator Steven McCallum.

Winners of the Committee Choice Awards were Billy Danielson, Carol Gallo, Allan Orr and Don Wright. Honorable mention went to Marie Dippolito, Tim Hallaran, Mandy Kendall, Keith McMahon/Priscilla Roggenkamp, Mark Scheuring and Guy Shively.
