Hiring help

The U.S. Census Bureau is looking for temporary full- and part-time workers in Mahoning, Columbiana and Trumbull counties to help with the next census. These jobs pay $12.50 to $15.50 per hour. More census information:

Prospective employees must call (330) 639-2870 to make an appointment to take a test. Practice tests and a list of job descriptions are available at www.census.gov.

Hiring will begin in late February and continue in March with work to begin soon after training is complete.

The last census was completed in 2000.
