More snow through the afternoon

The National Weather service says a winter storm warning continues for the Mahoning Valley through 4 p.m. today.

The updated forecast calls for moderate to heavy snow this afternoon before diminishing into flurries. The afternoon accumulation could be an additional 4 to 6 inches. The NWS suggest drivers avoid unnecessary travel and use extreme caution if travel is unavoidable.
