Sewing event planned at church in Warren

WARREN — Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild is hosting a “sit-n-sew” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 12 at Central Christian Church, 2051 E. Market St.

The group will sew pillowcases for Ronald McDonald Houses and for local charities. Take your machine, basic sewing supplies and a covered dish to share for lunch.

Nonmembers, regardless of skill level, are welcome to participate and get acquainted with the group. Those who don’t want to sew can cut.
