Fire caused by electrical outlet

YOUNGSTOWN — The origin of a fire over the weekend at an apartment complex at 461 Gypsy Lane was an electrical outlet in a basement apartment, the fire department said.

No injuries were reported from the Saturday afternoon fire.

An elderly female was removed from a first-floor apartment.

Damage was set at $18,000 to the property and contents.
