YSU earned first place finishes in 11 events at the non-scoring meet.

Junior Alisha Anthony led the Penguins on the women’s side with wins in the 55m dash (7.48), the long jump (5.69), and the triple jump (12.02). Senior Katie Betts won the 200m dash (26.8). Senior Jen Grayson won the high jump (1.66) and sophomore Breanne Romeo took the 400m (1:00.78).

On the men’s side, five different Penguins claimed the top spot, along with a first place finish in the 4x400m. Jonell Hodge won the 55m dash (6.62) and senior Michael Perri won the 600m (1:24.05). Junior Adam Kagarise won the 400m (51.55). Sophomore Scott Denham took the 800m (2:03.84) and Jerrill Hall won the 55m hurdles (7.80). The men’s 4x400m team won (3:35.60).
