BOARDMAN — The marriage of Melanie Arlene Witt and Jason Paul Landgraff, both of 804 S. Belle Vista Ave., was solemnized by the Rev. JoAnne Balpes during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony on Jan. 10 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.

An evening reception at The Elm Tree in Struthers honored the daughter of Charles and Kimberly Witt of Springfield and Tammy Bernard of Lowellville, and the son of Jimmy Landgraff of Lowellville and Marianne Frank of Youngstown.

The couple have postponed their wedding trip and will live in Youngstown.

The bride’s strapless ivory satin gown was embellished with beading, and the skirt flowed into a chapel train.

Kaitlin Dockry of Austintown, the bride’s cousin and honor attendant, wore a chocolate brown gown with a champagne wrap, as did the bridesmaids, Courtney Landgraff, a sister of the groom, and Kerri Ray, his cousin, both of Lowellville.

The duties of best man were performed by Ryan Munroe of Youngstown, and serving as groomsmen were Adam Ray of Lowellville, the groom’s cousin, and Christian Witt of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., a brother of the bride.

The groom graduated from Mahoning County Career and Technical Center and has enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.
