YOUNGSTOWN — George and Michele Metzinger of 2718 Jean St., and Joseph and Carol Damore of 216 S. Hazelwood Ave. announce the engagement of their children, Lisa Marie Metzinger and Joseph Michael Martin Damore.

The couple, both of 4284 Woodleigh Lane, have chosen St. Matthias Church for their 1:30 p.m. May 9 wedding, for which invitations will be extended. A reception that evening at Byzantine Center at the Grove will also be by invitation.

The bride-to-be, who earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration at Youngstown State University, is a staff accountant for Cohen & Co.

The prospective groom, who earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at YSU, is a manager for Cohen & Co.
