Austintown Rotary plans annual raffle

Members of the Austintown Rotary Club prepare once again for their annual Reverse Raffle, which will take place March 7 at the Maronite Center, 1555 S. Meridian Road. From left to right are Rotarians Dr. Mitchell Dalvin, Dr. Michael Cafaro, Brian Laraway and Melissa Crowley. On raffle day, the numbers will be called one by one, and the last one standing will take home the grand prize. Tickets, which cost $150 each and are limited to 150, give each entrant a chance to win approximately $2,000. Also included in the ticket price are an hors d’oeuvres table, open bar and steak dinner for two. This year, much of the proceeds will be used to fund the Woodside Reads program, which otherwise would be eliminated because of budget cuts.
