“The Last Templar” (9 p.m., NBC): We’ve got shades of “The Da Vinci Code” in “The Last Templar.” It’s a four-hour miniseries that has an archaeologist (Mira Sorvino) and an FBI agent (Scott Foley) embarking on a global investigation after an ancient device is pilfered from New York’s Metropolitan Museum.

“Loving Leah” (9 p.m., CBS): Talk about pressure. In the TV film “Loving Leah,” a nondevout man (Adam Kaufman) is pushed to honor an ancient Jewish custom by marrying his late brother’s widow (Lauren Ambrose) so that the deceased’s name will continue on.
