Globetrotters sell out Chevy

YOUNGSTOWN — The Harlem Globetrotters will play to a sold-out house at the Chevy Centre Saturday night. The legendary basketball entertainers are referring fans who were unable to get tickets to the local show to an afternoon performance at Canton Civic Center, where tickets are still available.

The world famous team’s 2009 Spinning the Globe Tour is drawing bigger crowds than their record-breaking 2008 tour, according to their press agents. Their appearance here has surpassed their 2007 revenue at draw at the Chevy Centre by 32 percent, they said.
