East High outlasts Fitch in 55-51 win

YOUNGSTOWN — Anthony Bowers scored 16 points and made 12 rebounds Friday to lead the East High boys basketball team to a 55-51 victory over Fitch.

Kenny Carter had 10 points, five rebounds and eight assists for the Panthers (3-6). For Fitch (2-10), Shane Stevens had 13 points and six rebounds. Deondre Richardson had 12 points and seven rebounds.
