Coupon requests

More than 100,000 residents of Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties have applied for coupons from the government to purchase digital television converter boxes. After Feb. 17, anyone who owns an analog television not hooked to cablewill not be able to watch TV without a converter box. The number of coupon requests per county:

Columbiana County: 21,621

Mahoning County: 48,577

Trumbull County: 33,173
