Beaver Local cruises to early lead in 64-48 win over East Liverpool

LISBON — The Beaver Local girls basketball team took a 22-4 lead in the first quarter and then it outscored East Liverpool 25-21 in the fourth quarter to post a 64-48 victory Friday in the Beavers’ gymnasium.

Macy Weber scored a season-high 30 points. She also pulled down seven rebounds and had four steals and three assists for the Beavers (9-6).

Sam Cianni chipped in with 11 points.

Alexis Harris paced the Potters (4-7) with 12 points.
