Lowellville schools receive $10,000 grant


LOWELLVILLE — Lowellville Schools was awarded a $10,000 grant from the CSX Corporate Giving Program to be used for school safety and security measures. The grant was presented to school officials by Thomas Palumbo, supervisor of locomotive engineers of the CSX Corp.’s New Castle Lakes Division, and Terry Ludman, CSX head of operations, Lifesaver and Safety. Palumbo is a 1965 graduate of Lowellville High School.
