Emery has hat trick

BOARDMAN — The Canfield High hockey team outshot Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy 62-11 in Thursday’s 6-3 win at the Ice Zone.

Riley Emery led the Cards with three goals and two assists in the Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League game.

Joe Geiser and Scott Sittig also scored a goal and an assist each while Tyler Buchenic netted a goal for the Cards (8-11).

CVCA falls to 3-13.

Canfield will play at Garfield Heights on Saturday.
