Watch The Vindy all day Tuesday

The Vindicator and www.vindy.com will be covering the inauguration of the 44th president of the United States throughout Tuesday.

If you won't be at the ceremonies for President-elect Barack Obama or if you cannot be near a TV, then you'll want to spend the day right here.

Some highlights:

• Reporter John Goodwin and photographer Bill Lewis will board a bus at midnight to follow members of the Jerusalem Baptist Church during their trip to Washington, D.C. for the ceremony. Goodwin and Lewis will report from the bus throughout the trip.

• Reporters and photographers will be spread out through the Valley Tuesday watching people watch history being made.

• Our special "Four Days in History" Web site will not only share the words and images of Vindicator staff members, but will also feature reports from national media there to cover the historic swearing in of the nation's first black president.

In addition, Tuesday's newspaper will feature a commemorative, keepsake front page.
