Wanted: Beautiful dolls for American Girl show

YOUNGSTOWN — Angels of Easter Seals is looking for girls interested in modeling for the American Girl Fashion Show and Luncheon, which is coming to the Mahoning Valley for the first time.

Tryouts will take place Jan. 25 at 2 p.m. at St. Michael Church, state Route 46 in Canfield. Girls will be chosen on their poise, confidence, stage presence and resemblance to an American Girl doll (see americangirl.com).

The cost to appear in the show is $25 per model.

Clothing in size 10 and 6x will be provided to the Angels of Easter Seals by American Girl. Historical girls’ costumes are all size 10. Contemporary “Just Like You” outfits in size 10 are sent to Angels, or outfits may be purchased by the parents for those girls chosen to be in the show as a “Just Like You” model.

The show will take place March 28-29 at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.
