Mr. and Mrs. Cook will mark 65 years

SALEM — Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cook of 11645 Beaver Creek Road, Salem, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Jan. 20.

Mr. Cook and the former Betty Christen were married in 1944 in Cumberland, Md., and have lived most of their married life in Greenford.

The Cooks have two daughters, Mary Lou Paulin of Waverly, Tenn., and Sandie (Fred) McClellan of Mogadore. The family includes three granddaughters, Terri (Ed) Burns of Mogadore, Sharon (Jammy) McCloud of Waverly and Shannon (Tom) Zahr of Burns, Tenn. The couple also have five great-grandchildren.

The Cooks belong to Salem First Christian Church, where they are members of the Gold Star Sunday school class, which Mrs. Cook teaches.

Mr. Cook retired in March 1986 from E.W. Bliss of Salem, where he had worked for 34 years.
