Harding Elementary

Harding Elementary

I am a fifth-grade student at Harding Elementary School in Youngstown, Ohio. I like sports. I am very good at football. If I could make one wish, it will be about our community. I would like people to not kill people. I wish my school could have more books. I would Like if our town could have better schools.

I am a fifth-grade student at Harding Elementary School in Youngstown, Ohio. I am a pastor’s son. I am giving him advice. I think people on the news should not be telling where your daughters go to school. Someone might not like you or your family, and that’s not nice at all. You are a very intelligent man. And you are our first black-American president.

Gabriel Justice Young

I am a fifth-grader at Harding Elementary School in Youngstown, Ohio. I just wanted to say that I really wanted you to fix a lot of things in the world like houses, stores, the roads and schools. There are some things I need to say, and I really hope we can get better things, and we need more and better jobs and money. You really should give people more money for homes, food, clothes, cars, shoes and more jobs because some people are living on the streets with nothing. And on payday, we should get more money. And you should make people be better friends, even the kids in school because they are bullying people. We need more food places because if we don’t have any food at home then we should have more food places. And something else I need to say is that there is a lot of violence in this world, so I need you to stop this violence.

I am a fifth-grade student at Harding Elementary School in Youngstown, Ohio. I am in the school band. I play the drums. I play basketball at the YMCA. I am 10 years old.

I think that you should lower the prices in gas and other things. My mom can’t really go anywhere with the gas like this. The gas prices were high, then they lowered, then went high again.

I wish they would lower game prices. When I got a game on Playstation3 for Christmas, it cost $60! That is a lot of money. When I went to Toys R Us, it was this one toy that cost $120. Stuff for little kids costs a lot of money.

And the last thing I have to say is congratulations on being the first African-American president.

I am a fifth-grade student at Harding Elementary School in Youngstown, Ohio. I’m a mathematician, and I like to read books, like Harry Potter. I’m a good athlete. I like playing football. My favorite NFL football team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. I wish some people would stop being racist. We need more police officers to stop the drug dealers and convict them that doing drugs that are bad for them. I also wish that shooting and killing innocents would stop and violence would stop. I want you to come to my school and tell us how it feels to be the first black president.

I am a fifth-grade student at Harding Elementary School in Youngstown, Ohio. I really want violence off the street. I like sports. I like to play football. I am a football expert. But I really want violence off the street because little kids are getting killed every day. You are the best president and Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream came true and your are part of it. And I like history, and I do good in history, and you made history. I am good in spelling and science.

Jeremy Edwards

I am a fifth-grade student at Harding Elementary School in Youngstown, Ohio. I am in the school band. Something that bothers me is the wars. If you bring our Army back in one group, the people we are fighting against might come to the United States to fight here. If you bring our Army back slow, we might not have that problem. I wish there was less violence in our town. My dad is a police officer here in Youngstown. Everyday he comes home telling us he gets shot at. I don’t want my father, or any other police officer, dying or getting seriously hurt because of a guy with a gun or knife. We already had a police officer shot in the foot. Please help our town with the violence!
