Youngstown Christian romps; Kennedy Catholic cruises

CANTON — Anthony Walker scored 11 points and pulled down seven rebounds Friday as the Youngstown Christian boys basketball team defeated Heritage Christian, 53-36.

Jose Echevestren scored eight points and Torell Grier seven for the Eagles (10-1).

Ken Hill scred 12 points for Heritage Christian.

Kennedy Catholic 62, Rocky Grove 44

FRANKLIN, Pa. — The Golden Eagles (11-2) allowed only eight points in the first quarter and six in the second as they built a 30-14 lead by intermission.

Kyle Randall sparked Kennedy Catholic with 25 points and seven assists. Aundra Jones grabbed 10 rebounds.
