Wedding planned by Miss Scardina, Mr. Manchester

Samantha Rose Scardina and Chad Spencer Manchester, both of 2216 Canfield Road, Youngstown, are planning a spring wedding.

Announcement of the couple’s engagement and wedding plans is being made by her parents, Samuel Scardina Jr., 2050 Hemlock Court, Austintown, and Deborah Scardina, 151 Carter Circle, Boardman, and his parents, Ted and Peggy Manchester, 2593 W. South Range Road, Columbiana.

The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. April 18 at New Springfield Church of God, and a reception will follow at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana. Invitations will be issued for both.

Miss Scardina is a licensed practical nurse at Akron Children’s Hospital of Mahoning Valley in Youngstown and a paramedic with Vienna Township Fire Department. She graduated from Choffin School of Practical Nursing and the UHHS Paramedic Program in Conneaut, and is pursuing a degree in nursing at Kent State University.

Mr. Manchester attended Kent State University Salem Campus and graduated from the UHHS Paramedic Program in Conneaut. He is a firefighter with the City of Youngstown and works for Brookfield Township Fire Department as a firefighter/paramedic.
