Mosley’s 29 points lead McDonald past Sebring

SEBRING — Joh’Vonnie Mosley scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds Thursday to lead the McDonald High School girls basketball team to a 63-52 victory over Sebring in a Inter-Tri-County League Tier Two game.

The Blue Devils (8-3, 5-2) held a 27-20 lead at intermission and the Trojans (5-7, 2-5) couldn’t catch up.

Lindsay Repp chipped in with 14 points for McDonald, while Callie Garland and Taylor Stanley had five assists each.

Jill Bragg led Sebring with 20 points.

East Liverpool 57, Youngstown Christian 47

YOUNGSTOWN — Brittany Tomaselli scored 24 points, including four 3-point goals, to lead East Liverpool (5-6).

Kristi Cooper had 17 points to pace Youngstown Christian (2-9). Caylin Hayes added 12 and Sara Bell had five points and 10 rebounds.
