Youngstown patrolman’s two sons arrested


YOUNGSTOWN — Two sons of a city patrolman were arraigned today in municipal court on charges of attempted burglary, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and criminal damaging. Bryandon M. Rutland, 19, and Antwaine H. Rutland, 22, both of Volney Road, are accused of trying to break into a house on Price Road on Wednesday afternoon. A woman and her 2-year-old son were home at the time. Judge Robert A. Douglas Jr. set bond for each at $300,000. The brothers will be back in court Jan. 22 for a preliminary hearing. Bryandon is also charged with driving under suspension. Their father is Patrolman Christopher Rutland.
