Remains of man, 67, found inside home

YOUNGSTOWN — The remains of Thomas E. King, 67, were found on the living room floor of his home at 1330 Lansdowne Boulevard when police went to check on his welfare Wednesday night. The death was of apparent natural causes, reports show. A neighbor who hadn’t seen him since sometime in December asked that police check on his welfare. A small black dog found inside the house had eaten portions of the body, police said. Animal Charity humane agents were called to the scene and took the dog. The neighbor told police that King has two children who live somewhere out of town.
