NILES — Brian David Pappada and his bride, the former Mary Patricia Bailey, honeymooned during an Alaskan cruise after their wedding on June 14 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
The daughter of Ray and Cindy Bailey and the son of David and Susan Pappada, all of Niles, exchanged vows during a noon ceremony officiated by the Rev. Larry Frient.
They were honored afterward during a reception at DiVieste’s Banquet Hall in Warren.
Anne Bailey was the honor attendant for her sister, and bridesmaids were the groom’s sister, Andrea Bucci; Julie McConnell; and Kelli Caraway. Flower girls were Ayla Danes and the groom’s nieces, Kayla and Mia Bucci.
Best man was the groom’s cousin, Marc Pappada, and groomsmen were Mike Connelly, Jason McConnell and Matt Faller. Ushers were Chris Caraway and John Wright.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in special education. She is a service and support administrator with Franklin County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities in Columbus.
The groom is an operations technician with Qwest Communications in Dublin. He graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and is pursuing a master’s in business administration at Capital University in Columbus.
They live in Hilliard.
