COLUMBIANA — Laura Lee Lagaras, a daughter of Rick and Debbie Lagaras of Columbiana, and Jereld Michael Remish, a son of Joseph Sr. and Kathy Remish, also of Columbiana, were married Oct. 4 at St. Jude Church. The Rev. Thomas Ziegler officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride wore a strapless white satin gown with a beaded lace bodice, train and hemline. A tiara held her cathedral veil.
The honor attendants, Danielle Fedor and Sandy Kent, wore cinnamon-colored gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Kristie Remish and Dawn Remish, the groom’s sisters-in-law, and Amanda Weitzman. Flower girls were the groom’s niece, Kaitlin Remish, and the bride’s cousin, Olivia Lehman.
Dan Detwiler was best man, and groomsmen were Joe Jr. and Jeff Remish, brothers of the groom; Colby Garrity and Joe Ischkum. Junior groomsmen were Peyton, Joe III and Michael Remish, and ring bearer was Tyler Remish, all nephews of the groom. Also participating was vocalist William Ambert.
After a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Topsail Island in North Carolina. They live in Columbiana.
The bride completed her education through the ICS Home Schooling Program and is a supervisor with TJ’s at the Holiday Inn in Boardman. The groom attended Kent State University and is a delivery driver with Sheely’s Furniture.
