BOARDMAN — The wedding of Denise Welsh of Boardman and John Butler of Poland took place Nov. 15 at St. Charles Church and was followed by a reception at the Youngstown Club.

The Revs. Shawn Conoboy and Patrick Manning officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patsy Del Bene, 1923 Highlawn Ave., Youngstown, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Butler, 453 Arbor Circle, Youngstown.

The bride wore a taupe chiffon gown, which featured a beaded empire bodice and was worn with a beaded bolero jacket.

Wearing chocolate-brown gowns were Natalie Welsh of Columbus, the bride’s daughter and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Kate Butler of Pittsburgh, the groom’s daughter, and Lindsay Welsh of Boardman, daughter of the bride.

John Butler performed the duties of best man for his father, and groomsmen were Charles Butler of LaSalle, Ill., and Michael Butler of Andalusia, Pa., brothers of the groom.

Afterward the couple left on a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas and, upon return, live in Boardman.

Mrs. Butler is an office manager at Ebert Animal Hospital in Youngstown, and Mr. Butler is the owner of Burkland Floral. He attended Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware and graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in business.
