• Dr. Matt and Aimee (Phan) Shears, 360 Vernon St., Oakland, Calif., are announcing the birth of a daughter, Amelie Mui-Phan Shears, on Nov. 21 at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland. Grandparents of the infant are Mr. and Mrs. Terry Shears of Boardman and Mr. and Mrs. A.T. Phan of Irvine, Calif. The great-grandmother is Mrs. Bernie S. Horning of Salem.

• Announced by Dannie and Danielle (Kilar) Addair, 2917 Columbus Ave., Ashtabula, is the birth of a son, Mason Douglas Addair, on Dec. 16 at Ashtabula County Medical Center. The infant is a grandson of Paul and Maria Kilar of Hubbard and Dannie and Carolyn Addair of North Kingsville. His great-grandparents are Frances DelSignore of Boardman, Thomas and Marilyn Kilar of Hubbard, and Hattie Gildersleeve of Cleveland.
