YSU women’s alumni day slated Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown State women’s basketball team will host alumni day on Saturday during the Cleveland State game.

The Penguins invite former women’s basketball players for the day. Alumni will be honored at halftime of the game, which starts at 2:05 p.m. The current team will have a meet-and-greet with the former players in the Coaches Court following the game.

Also, the YSU team will be part of the Horizon League’s tribute to the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a student-centered arts contest.

YSU has partnered with P. Ross Middle School for the event. Fifth- and sixth-grade students will have their art displayed in the front lobby of the Beeghly Center.
