YSU police, coroner investigate student’s death

YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown State University police and the Mahoning County coroner’s office are investigating the death of a YSU student found in his apartment this morning.

David C. Sweet, YSU president, notified the campus community that the student was found in his bed by a roommate in the University Courtyard Apartments complex. Foul play isn’t suspected, Sweet said.

The name of the student wasn’t immediately available.
