Baseball team has five more camp dates

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown State baseball school’s winter camp series has five more dates in the next month, including holiday camps on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Presidents Day.

Camp sessions will be held for players aged 6-17 and will be taught by members of YSU’s coaching staff.

In addition to the two holiday camps, the other three dates are part of a three-week session on consecutive Saturdays. The first session is this Saturday, Jan. 17.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Day camp on Jan. 19 will be a hitting clinic. On Presidents Day, a mini-camp for players aged 6-13 will be held from 9 a.m.-noon, and a pitching clinic is scheduled from 12:30 p.m.-2 p.m.

Each camp session will be held at the Valley Sports Indoor Facility in Struthers.
