An arson is the focus of Crime Stoppers of Greater Youngstown this week:

Crime: Someone poured an accelerant on the front porch of a South Side house and ignited it around 9:45 p.m. Dec. 23, 2008.

Site: The fire was confined to the porch at 436 Pasadena Ave.

Details: Firefighters rescued five children who were in the home. Their mother returned 15 minutes after firefighters were on the scene and was charged with endangering children.

Description of suspect: None.
