Two crashes today near Market Street bridge due to icy conditions

YOUNGSTOWN — Two separate crashes near Woodland Avenue, close to the Market Street bridge, were being handled by police around 9:40 this morning.

Icy conditions made driving a challenge and resulted in a number of crashes or vehicles off the road, especially on Interstate 680, police said.
