Farrell police arrest Sharon man for Hermitage robbery
FARRELL, Pa. — Police have arrested a man for a robbery in Hermitage.
Quentin Mathews, 27, of Quinby Street, Sharon, also was wanted for questioning in the shooting death of a Detroit man in Farrell. He was arrested at 5 a.m. today at a Fruit Avenue, Farrell, address.
Mathews was wanted in the July 9 armed robbery at a Cohasset Drive residence. Another man wanted in the robbery, Michael Golden Jr., 23, whose last known address was on Lee Avenue in Farrell, surrendered to police Dec. 27.
Mathews was arraigned today on charges of robbery, conspiracy, theft and simple assault. He and Golden are accused of assaulting the victim, whom they knew, and stealing $1,300 in cash and a $250 digital camera.
