FIFTY YEARS AGO: A rally to encourage employees of the G.M. McKelvey department store to buy U.S. Savings Bonds under the payroll deduction plan featured two clerks in the downtown Youngstown store, Rita Onderko, left, and Irene Galambossy, wearing Savings Bond dresses.
