United reunion promises memorable weekend

HANOVERTON — Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first graduating class, United School District will welcome all alumni, classmates, family, community members and friends of United to its All-Class Reunion July 3-5.

The committee has met several times and planning is under way. The tentative schedule includes a meet-and-greet with present and former staff, sporting events, food, building tours, kids’ carnival, sock hops, minstrel show, art show, hardcover yearbook, talent show, worship service, car show, alumni band, alumni choir, drama/play re-enactments, parade, closing ceremonies and fireworks. Other activities are in the works.
