Stennis-Sarratt engagement is being announced

The engagement of Pamela L. Stennis and Brandon J. Sarratt is being announced by their parents, Leon and Cheryl Stennis of Youngstown and Colette D. Hill of Maple Heights.

A proposal writer with United Healthcare in Westerville, the bride-elect is also a daughter of the late Juanita Briggs-Stennis. She graduated from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and from Youngstown State University with a master’s degree in English.

The prospective groom, also a son of the late Richard J. Sarratt, is a head processor with the Initial Underwriting Group of Columbus. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Denison University in Granville.

The couple will be united in marriage in a June ceremony that will take place at Union Baptist Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for the ceremony and for a reception that will take place that evening at Willow Creek Banquet Centre in Girard.
