Vitullo earns Eagle rank
John Vitullo, son of Doreen and Ray Vitullo of Austintown, was recently honored at an Eagle Scout court-of-honor ceremony by Boy Scout Troop 184 of St. Joseph Parish, Austintown.
John was a member of Cub Scout Pack 84 at Austintown Community Church, where he earned the Arrow of Light award in February 2003.
He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 22 at St. Christine Parish, Youngstown and Troop 184, St. Joseph Parish, Austintown. His scoutmaster is John Corey of Troop 184.
John’s Eagle service project involved the construction of a storage shelving system for the Ursuline High School Band at Ursuline High School, where he is a junior.
He earned 22 merit badges and attended summer Scout camp at Seven Ranges and Beaumont Scout reservations. He has been the troop’s senior patrol leader, assistant senior patrol leader, patrol leader, den chief, and earned the Paul Bunyan Award.
