Parents announce Banic-Ferrante wedding plans

The engagement of Victoria Lynn Banic, 808 Marmion Ave., Youngstown, and Roger Dominic Ferrante, 4390 Devonshire Drive, Boardman, and plans for their upcoming marriage are being announced by their parents.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Denny and Bonnie Banic, 10 Wilbur St., Greenville, Pa., and Bev Grandy, Springhill, Fla. The future groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Ferrante, 111 Edgewood Ave., New Castle, Pa.

The couple have chosen Wallace Memorial Chapel at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., for their 11:30 a.m. wedding on Feb. 21. Invitations will be extended for the ceremony and for a reception at The Riverplex in New Castle, Pa.

Miss Banic served with the U.S. Army from 1986 to 1990 and graduated from Youngstown State University with an associate degree in applied science. She is the owner/operator of The Detail Doctor in Boardman.

Mr. Ferrante is a senior business adviser with I.P.A. Consulting in Chicago. He graduated from Westminster College in New Wilmington and from graduate school at Point Park University in Pittsburgh.
