• An 11 a.m. liturgy will precede Tuesday’s monthly meeting of the Golden Pillars at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Bella Vista Ave., Youngstown. Eleanor Hnat will preside, birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and bingo and cards will be played. Members are asked to take their own place setting for a noon luncheon.
HAPPY WANDERERS
• The Happy Wanderers will meet for a sack luncheon at noon Friday at Corner House Christian Church. Coffee and tea are provided. Speaking on “Weather Folklore” will be Rich Morgan of WKBN. The hospitality committee will be Mary Jane Dean, Pat Osberg, Dick Osberg, Lloyd Haddenham and Lois Haddenham, and greeters will be Lucille Hlas, Bob Jaillet, Peg Jaillet and Leah Putman. Those whose last names begin with M-Z are asked to take cookies.
