Notre Dame beats Canfield at Ice Zone

BOARDMAN — Ryan Walczak scored with 1:47 remaining as the Notre Dame Cathedral Latin hockey team defeated Canfield 5-4 Friday at the Ice Zone.

With two goals each, Riley Emery and Joe Geiser pacee the Cardinals in Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League action.

Tyler Buchenic and Scott Sittig assisted on two goals ,while Emery, Geiser and Nick Carney chipped in with one assist. Canfield (6-10, 1-4) travels to Elyria on Sunday to take on Midview.
